Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron tourbillon puts the mini W16 engine inside the watch
The watch community was recently created by Jacob & Co. with some extraordinary timepieces, including Twin Turbo Furious "La Montre Noire" Bugatti Edition. The New York-based watchmaker announced another collaboration with the super car manufacturer to release a new series. The Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron tourbillon series adopts three unique styles of complex design and incorporates the latest watchmaking technology. The 44mm case and transparent dial mimic the engine shell of the Bugatti Chiron, showing the internal structure of the tourbillon. A series of precious metals and materials make up the collection, which uses weight reduction and extra strength to create more powerful timepieces. The series is made of sapphire crystal, matte black titanium and matte silver titanium.
At the beginning of 2019, Bugatti terminated its 15-year watch partnership with Swiss watchmaker Parmigiani Fleurier, and created a new partnership with New York watchmaker and jeweler Jacob & Co.. The latter was once known for helping define the golden age of American music. In March last year, when Jacob announced a new collaboration at Baselworld, the global watch trade fair, Jacob launched two new limited edition watches, both based on existing Jacob models. The Twin Turbo Furious Bugatti Edition recreates the watchmaker’s Twin Turbo Furious timepiece, while the Bugatti Chrono Edition Limitee 100 Ans celebrates the 110th anniversary of Bugatti’s birth, based on Jacob’s Epic X Chrono. chronowrist.ru
