Audemars Piguet Introduces Three Royal Oak Offshore Diver's Watches
In 2010, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver's watch, boasting a professional water resistance of 300 meters, was launched. In 2021, the series was refreshed and upgraded, featuring the brand's in-house 4308 automatic movement, a transparent case back, and a patented quick-release strap system. Now, Audemars Piguet introduces new models. The new watches feature modern color schemes and exude vitality.
The new watches have a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 14.2 mm. The case is crafted from stainless steel with brushed and polished finishes, featuring an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, black ceramic double crowns (at 3 and 10 o'clock, one for winding and setting the time, and the other for controlling the inner bezel), and a transparent case back. They are water-resistant to 300 meters. The octagonal bezel is brushed and secured with eight polished screws.
The dial is available in deep sea blue (15720ST.OO.A403CA.01) or black. The former features white luminescent material on the first 15 minutes of the rotating inner bezel, while the latter uses turquoise (15720ST.OO.A355CA.01) or pink (15720ST.OO.A010CA.01) luminescent material.
The dial is decorated with an oversized "Méga Tapisserie" pattern and features a date window at 3 o'clock, which, combined with a lens, ensures excellent legibility. The deep sea blue dial version features 18K rose gold hands and hour markers and a crown pusher; the black dial version features 18K white gold hands and hour markers and a stainless steel crown pusher. The hands and hour markers are coated with luminescent material to ensure readability in low-light conditions.
All new watches are powered by the 4308 automatic movement, first unveiled with the Code 11.59. This movement comprises 234 parts, 32 jewels, and vibrates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). It features a 22K gold rotor and offers a 60-hour power reserve. The Geneva stripes, circular graining, and chamfered finish of the movement can be admired through the transparent case back.
The new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver's Watch comes with a matching integrated rubber strap and a stainless steel pin buckle.
